What is Anchorbird?

What is Anchorbird?

Anchorbird is a new webcomic which is a collaborative effort: each installment is written and drawn by a single person, taking turns within a group of sixteen people. Nobody involved in the comic has planned out where the story will go, it’s all up to whomever is drawing it at the moment.

When does it update?

Unfortunately, because of the nature of it, it’s nearly impossible to have a set-in-stone schedule for updating the comic. Pages go up whenever they’re done, but because there’s so many people contributing it moves along at a nice pace. On the top right of the page, however, you can see which pages are coming next and who's working on them.

I want in on this!

Anchorbird is invite-only, but if you want to be involved in the comic, the best thing you can do is sign up on Penciljack.com and contribute to the Never-Ending Strip Jam. The Strip Jam is open to everyone, and if you do a good job, you’ll probably catch our eye and get an invite.
